It's always daunting, I think, to take a piece of work that the community knows (and loves as it is) and try to represent it accurately, respectfully, but also with freshness; it's hard. That's why I have such endless admiration for the people in this fandom o_o;;; because...honest to goodness I've never seen the likes of it - the scope of ideas as well as the generated material, and the general kindness to boot. I agree! Of all the skill sets of the team, forging is the one with the most possibility of being so utterly encompassing, a touch disturbing/creepy, and entirely fascinating.

The icon is by the lovely woobie. I've decided that I just don't have enough Marion/Mal in my life and am trying to plaster my LJ with her slowly but surely. ♥
